June 14 - 15, was Peggy Sue's All American Cruise up in Santa Rosa.   This is actually a 4 day event with a golf tournament and a poker run, along with a chili cook off/wine tasting, breakfast, cruise and car show.   This event is quickly becoming a favorite of mine.   A change in plans had us with Vern White's 57.       The Friday night Chili cook off/wine/beer tasting is a don't miss event.  It's quite a treat to sample the local wineries and the chili wasn't bad, either.   Saturday morning we were treated to a pancake breakfast at the park.   Show n shine is all day at the park and in the evening we leave for the cruise.  Downtown streets     are blocked off for the cruise.  What fun except for the delay because of a fire!   Because Randy could not attend due to prior commitments, John and Patricia  Ruscher were able to attend.
